The success of the first flight of the C919 airliner
Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd (COMAC), approved by the State Council, was established in Shanghai in 2008. It is the main body of the large-scale aircraft project in China. It is also the main carrier for the development of integrated trunk and branch aircraft and the realization of the industrialization of civil aircraft in China. It is determined to make the large passenger aircraft developed by the Chinese people to take off at an early date. COMAC assembly and manufacturing center Pudong base is an advanced domestic civil aircraft assembly and manufacturing base. In 2014, the digital pulse power supply, which was studied by Shanghai TAYOR heavy industry group for 8 months, was used in the base to serve the manufacturing of C919 domestic large passenger aircraft developed by China commercial fly.
China has fully autonomous intellectual property rights, the first civil aircraft C919, developed in accordance with international airworthiness standards, landed safely at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 15:19 on 5th May, and the first flight was successful. It marks a major breakthrough in China's large passenger aircraft projects, and is an important milestone in the development of China's civil aviation industry.
The full name of C919 is "COMAC919", and COMAC is the English name of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd, the main manufacturer of C919. "C" is the first character of "COMAC", and also is the first character of the Chinese English name "CHINA". It shows that the large passenger aircraft is the will of the country and the expectation of the people. The first 9 implies "everlasting", and the 19 implies that the largest passenger capacity of C919 is 190.
 Guanghui Wu, chief designer of C919, said that C919 is China's own designed trunk line aircraft, and has fully autonomous intellectual property rights for the overall design of the aircraft. The "shell", such as the head, the fuselage, the tail and the wing, came from Chinese enterprises such as Chengfei, Hongdu, Shen Fei, Xifei and so on, and many other key parts came from foreign enterprises. It is reported that global procurement is a major feature of civil aircraft manufacturing, and the suppliers of Boeing and Airbus also come from the whole world. But a major mission of C919 is to promote the development of domestic civil aircraft industry chain, and believe that more and more components will come from Chinese enterprises. |
